Homework
  • Monday: Write a paragraph about why rounding can be helpful.
  • Tuesday: WB 9 #1 - 14 & 21 - 29
  • Wednesday: Round the number 583,271,649 to the ten's place, the hundred's place, the thousand's place, the ten-thousand's place, the hundred-thousand's place, the million's place, the ten-million's place, and the hundred-million's place.
  • Thursday: WB 10 # 1 - 20
  • Friday: none
Find the digit, look next door, 5 or higher, add 1 more, 4 or less, let it rest.

Rounding example: 85 = 90; 33 = 30; 99 = 100; 578 = 600
Front-end example: 85 = 80; 33 = 30; 99 = 90; 578 = 500
