Multiplication (week 5) 9/3 - 9/7

We are now working on multiplication. Students should be able to multiply 3-digit X 1-digit numbers and 2-digit X 2-digit numbers. Students who don't know their multiplication facts are truly struggling with this skill. Please make sure that students know all of their math facts have have them take the multiplication timed tests (look to the sidebar on the right) to test their knowledge.

Homework: Due to the large number of students who don't know their math facts, students are to build their bridges (2-9) and study their math facts. 

• Monday: Build bridges and study math facts!
• Tuesday: Build bridges and study math facts!
• Wednesday: Build bridges and study math facts!
• Thursday: Build bridges and study math facts!
• Friday: STUDY MATH FACTS!

• Tux Math - A free program that lets students practice their math facts while playing a fun game. This program must be downloaded and installed. It's safe, I promise.
• ArcademicSkillBuilders - All kinds of fun math games. Check 'em out. 
• 2-Digit Multiplication - I'd recommend having paper and pencil handy.
